He's All That Classic Vehicle Birthday |
M asculine birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Early Espresso Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" of various small vehicles on dark orange background design from He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the vehicles are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/2" square from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- vintage car die cut from He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
Insert the large Crushed Curry rectangle into the Gingham Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Crushed Curry rectangle to the front of the Early Espresso card.
Adhere the piece of He's The Man Designer Paper to the center of the Early Espresso rectangle and then to the front of the card in the center.
If you haven't already done so, carefully punch out the vintage car die cut from the sheet of die cuts in the He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Place the die cut on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Use the fine tip of the Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends to carefully color the white outline around the vintage card die cut.
Adhere the colored vintage car die cut to the front of the card so the front bumper is about 1/8" from the left side of the designer paper rectangle and the top of the car is about 1/4" from the top of the designer paper rectangle.
Mount the "happy birthday to a classic" image from the He's All That Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Crushed Curry square.
Pick out the scalloped edge circle die from the All That Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower right side of the vintage car die cut and the right edge is about 1/8" from the right edge of the designer paper rectangle and the bottom edge is about 1/8" from the bottom edge of the designer paper rectangle.
Use the Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends to color the top of one of the compass icons on the sheet of Enamel Sticker Icons. Allow to dry for a minute or two.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to peel up the colored enamel sticker and adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the vintage car die cut and the upper left side of the sentiment circle cut out a bit.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Sahara Sand ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle in the notch between the enamel sticker and the sentiment circle cut out.
