He's All That Adventure Compass/Holy Smokes |
M asculine card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cajun Craze Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/8" of diagonal orange stripes on one side and BBQ emblems on dark brown on other side design from He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 1-5/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Choose which side of the He's The Man Designer Paper you want to use. Adhere it to the bottom of the horizontal Early Espresso rectangle so about 1/8" of Early Espresso shows on the bottom, left, and right edges.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the 3/8" Denim Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the cardstock and designer paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Early Espresso rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Cajun Craze card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Cajun Craze square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out one of the argyle square dies from the
All That Dies. Put it on top of the Cajun Craze square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Cajun Craze (orange) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the argyle square cut out. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the card front so it creates an argyle diamond.
Mount the "holy smokes you're amazing", compass rose, "happy birthday to a classic," or "together for the long haul" image from the He's All That Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Crumb Cake square.
Pick out either the oval die or the scalloped edge circle die from the All That Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use the Cajun Craze Stampin' Write Marker to color in the uncolored sides of the compass rose, the surf board, parts of the classic car, or the handles of the BBQ utensils if desired.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the left side.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small dot from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the argyle diamond on the front of the card.
If you used the compass rose image, use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 more small dot from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the compass.
