Happy Valentine’s Day |

H ere is my submission for the #simplestamping January challenge. Simple clean cards appeal to me, but that is not my usual style. I love making my own DSP and was inspired by the three smallest heart stamps in the Meant To Be stamp set. These stamps made a fun patterned paper for my card. The card came together quickly and I was pleasantly surprised that I could make a cute card without a lot of fuss!

Cut List:
Flirty Flamingo - 8.5” x 5.5”, scored at 4.25” in the 8.5” side; 2” x 3” for sentiment
Whisper White - 4” x 5.25”
Lovely Lipstick - .5” x 5.25”
Stamping:
Starting with the largest of the 3, randomly stamp the heart on the Whisper White card front. Be sure to angle the heart in different directions and stamp some off the edge of the card front. This will give an organic look. To keep spacing between the images looking right, start with the largest image first and work down to the smallest. I used Flirty Flamingo for the largest heart - I love the striped detail of this heart! Using Lovely Lipstick ink, I followed the same process to stamp the heart with the doodles. I used Petal Pink to stamp the smallest heart. I stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick on the 2 x 3 Flirty Flamingo cardstock and then punched that out using the Pretty Label Punch. I added a heart in Flirty Flamingo on each side of the sentiment to finish the sentiment label.
Assembly:
Adhere the .5 x 5.25 strip of Lovely Lipstick so that it divides the stamped card front in half horizontally. Adhere the sentiment centered on the Lovely Lip Stick strip. And you are done!
