Garden Wishes Simple Sunflower
Q uick and easy card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pacific Point Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-5/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Mount the single, rounded, solid dandelion flower image from the Garden Wishes Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad and stamp it multiple times in a rough circle shape in the center top of the large vertical white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let the images overlap. Leave about 1-1/4" of white space below the rough circle.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Garden Wishes Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the stamped white rectangle so it is centered under the stamped, rough circle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the front of the Pacific Point card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Basic White square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, detailed sunflower die from the Sunflowers Dies. Put it on top of the white square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the cardstock side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed white sunflower cut out and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered over the rough, stamped circle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Mango Melody sequin from a sheet of Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the sunflower cut out.
