Garden Corner Easter Card Coloring Technique |
|
I love this coloring technique! And it's so easy to do.

This card is so easy to do. Just pick the colors you want your flowers to be and use your Stampin' Write markers to color the flowers and leaves directly onto the stamp,
Once you've completed the entire stamp, use your Heat Tool on the LOWEST temp and heat up the stamp to reactive the ink.
Don't get too close to the stamp with the heat tool, the objective here is just to reactive the ink, not melt the stamp.
Stamp onto a Whisper White card stock.
Using your Aqua Painter, start pulling the color from the lines of the flowers and leaves into the image to color it in.
Make sure you do not have too much water on the painter. If you get too much water onto the card, use a paper towel to blot it off,
Also, try not to mix the colors together (unless you want it to be)
If your ink lines dry too much, you can use the coordinating ink pad by putting ink onto the inside of the lid and then use the Aqua Painter to pick up some ink and color in the image.
You might want to first try the color on a grid paper before coloring the image to make sure you don't have too much ink on the painter.
Once you've finish coloring your image, you can add a sentiment and embellishments (I didn't on mine) to the card and then layer with DSP onto the card base.
That's it. It's just that simple. You are going to love your finish card.
