Cut cardstock and Foil Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/8" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3" square from Copper Foil Sheets
- 3" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the Real Red rectangle into the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder so the lines run horizontally across the rectangle. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Make sure the embossing folder does NOT hang out over the edges of the platform or it will catch the edges of the Big Shot as you crank it through which could damage your folder and Big Shot. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Open the embossing folder and turn the cardstock 90 degrees so that the lines are now running vertically across the cardstock. Close the folder and place it on the Big Shot as before and crank it through. You should have a grid pattern dry embossed on your cardstock now.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the dry embossed red rectangle on the bottom of the large white rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the ribbon across the white and red rectangles so it covers the seam between the two.
Mount the "Happy Birthday to you!" sentiment on Block H. Carefully ink up only the words "happy birthday" using the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle about 1/2" up from the top of the ribbon and about 1/4" in from the right side. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Tip: I stamp off on Grid Paper and/or rub my hand across the stamp after cleaning it to make sure it is completely clean and dry so I don't get a ghost image on the next step.
Carefully ink up only the words "to you!" using the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle so it is centered just below the words "happy birthday." Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and return it to the case.
When happy with the stamping, adhere the dry embossed red rectangle to the bottom of the white rectangle. Then, adhere them to the Night of Navy rectangle.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock so it hides the seam between the red and white layers. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Real Red card.
Pick out the circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-11/16" circle. Place the Copper Foil Sheets square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/2" scalloped circle. Place the Crumb Cake square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place the Crumb Cake scalloped circle inside the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Use the brush tip of the Real Red Marker to color in the spaces between the weaves to make it look like strawberry pie filling oozing out.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive strips to adhere the dry embossed and colored Crumb Cake scalloped circle to the center of the copper circle.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive strips to adhere the copper circle to the front of the card on the left side so it is centered over the ribbon.
Place the small rectangle of white cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp with the Fruit Basket Set.
Mount the bottom of the strawberry image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it 2 times along the white strip. Leave some room between each image and leave room at the top to stamp the leaves. Remember to re-ink the stamp.
Mount the strawberry leaves image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of one of the previously stamped strawberry bottom images. Repeat with the other strawberry remembering to re-ink the stamp.
Unlock the strawberry punch from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide one of the stamped strawberries into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other strawberry.
Adhere the strawberries to the center of the pie using a Mini Glue Dot and a Mini Stampin' Dimensional. Let the strawberries overlap a bit.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon.
Slide one end under the ribbon on the card front under the sentiment. Tie it in place with a half knot so it is centered under the sentiment. Trim the ends.
