- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of yellow lattice pattern on light green background design from Flowering Zinnia 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 4" of light green diagonal stripes on dark green background design from Flowering Zinnia 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-7/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Friends For Life Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the leaf sprig image from the Friends For Life Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Old Olive rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock and rotate the angle of the stamp each time. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the strip of yellow lattice on light green Flowering Zinnia Designer Paper across the center of the horizontal, stamped Old Olive rectangle.
Adhere the stamped Old Olive rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card.
Pick out the largest rectangle with notched edges die from the Something Fancy Dies. Put it on top of the vanilla rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the large block letter "best" word from the Friends For Life Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the horizontal label cut out as shown.
Mount the script "wishes" word from the Friends For Life Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal label cut out as shown so the top of the "h" overlaps the bottom of the "t" in the word "best".
Mount the brushstroke image from the Friends For Life Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it over the top of the word "wishes" on the label cut out as shown.
Adhere the sentiment label to the front of the card as shown so it is about 3/8" from the right edge and about 3/4" from the bottom.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the back of the diagonal stripes Flowering Zinnia Designer Paper rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, detailed leaf die from the Friends For Life Dies. Put it on top of the designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the designer paper side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. KEEP ALL THE PIECES!
Tip: Save the large rectangle of designer paper with the leaf shape cut out of the center to use on another project.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the large, detailed leaf cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so the stem overlaps the bottom left side of the sentiment label and the bottom leaf on the right almost touches the "b" in the word "best".
Choose three of the little leaf center bits that were cut out when you cut out the big detailed leaf. Peel the protective backings off of them one at a time and adhere them in a tight cluster as shown to the card front in the upper right corner of the sentiment label cut out.
Re-ink the leaf sprig image on Block C with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Lemon Lime Twist rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open, small leaf die from the Friends For Life Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the small leaf cut out to the card front as shown so it overlaps the bottom left side of the large, detailed leaf cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Lemon Lime Twist gem from a sheet of Tinsel Gems Four-Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottoms of the small leaf cluster in the upper right corner of the sentiment label cut out..
Cut an 16" long piece of the Lemon Lolly twine included in the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottoms of the leaf sprig stems.
