Friendly Seagulls Hey Friend Circles

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Wild Wheat Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Boho Blue Cardstock
   - 3" square of blue, green, and tan tartan design from Timeless Plaid 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
   - 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" square from Boho Blue Cardstock
   - 1" x 3" from Wild Wheat Cardstock

2. Insert the large Boho Blue rectangle into the Starstruck Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.

3. Adhere the dry embossed Boho Blue rectangle to the front of the Wild Wheat card.

4. Pick out the circle die with stitched edges that cuts out a circle that is 2-9/16" diameter from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the Timeless Plaid Designer Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

5. As you are ready to stamp using the Friendly Seagulls Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.

6. Mount the seagull looking over his back image from the Friendly Seagulls Set on Block B, Ink it up with the Wild Wheat Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.

7. Pick out the circle die with stitched edges that cuts out a circle that is 2-1/8" diameter from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped seagull square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the seagull is centered side to side and slightly closer to the top. Run through the machine.

8. Use the fine tip of the Wild Wheat Stampin' Write Marker to color in the feet, beak, and wing stripe of the seagull.

9. Mount the group of shells image from the Friendly Seagulls Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Wild Wheat Ink Pad. Stamp it a couple of times across the bottom of the seagull circle cut out remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.

10. Mount the group of fish image from the Friendly Seagulls Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Boho Blue square.

11. Pick out the circle die with stitched edges that cuts out a circle that is 1-1/4" diameter from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped fish square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.

12. Mount the "Hey, friend" sentiment from the Friendly Seagulls Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the thin Wild Wheat strip.

13. Pick out the banner die that cuts out a banner that is 5/8" wide from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is closer to the right edge. Run through the machine.

14. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the circle cut outs and sentiment cut out on the front of the card to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the arrangement, adhere the pieces in place one at a time. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the fish circle in place.

15. Cut a 2-1/2" piece of the Boho Blue jute trim from the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim Pack.

16. Tie a knot in the center of the jute trim. Trim the ends.

17. Adhere the jute trim knot to the front of the card as shown using a Mini Glue Dot.

18. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Wild Wheat dot from a sheet of Faux Glass Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the plaid circle cut out as shown.
