Cardstock
Whisper White - 11 x 4 1/4
Daffodil Delight - 4 x 5 1/4
Bird Ballad DSP - 5 x 2
Bermuda Bay - scrap for layer
(approx 1 3/4 x 3)
Watercolor paper - scrap for layer
(approx 1 1/2 x 2 1/2)
White Tulle Ribbon - approx 5"
Stamp sentiment in the lower left of Daffodil Delight card stock. Run that piece of card stock through the Big Shot using the Subtles Embossing folder.
Take Bird Ballad DSP and punch one end in the Triple Banner punch. Using double sided tape, layer the DSP on the left-hand side of the Daffodil Delight panel.
Tie the white tulle ribbon around the lower portion of the DSP strip and tie in a knot. Trim edges.
Using the Nested Labels Dies, cut the Bermuda Bay and Watercolor Papers. Use 3rd smallest die on Watercolor paper and 4th smallest die on Bermuda Bay.
Take the Watercolor panel and using Stazon ink, stamp just the left-hand side of the bird on the larger bird stamp. You just want the bird in the center with a little of the leaves showing on the left and right side.
Color the Image
Press the top of the ink pad a few times and then open it up and use the excess ink that is now on the inside of the stamp pad lid as your palette.
Start off with a small amount of ink on your Aqua pen. You can always go back and add more if you want it darker. And the Aqua pen should just be damp, not dripping wet. It if appears too wet, dab it several times on your scrap paper or use a paper towel to remove the excess water.
When you are ready to change ink colors, just dab the Aqua Painter several times on a scrap piece of paper until it shows no color, then you can move on to the next ink color. Repeat this step for each color change so that you don't "muddy" the colors.
Once the image is completed, mount the watercolor panel on to the Bermuda Bay piece using dimensionals. Then layer that piece on to the DSP banner. Add a little Wink of Stella to the bird.
You are done! Enjoy your beautiful card!
