P retty card perfect for an engagement or wedding card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of white leaves on shiny Soft Sea Foam background design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 4" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 2" x 3" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Splendid Day Designer Paper to the front of the Basic White Thick card.
Pick out the large, fancy frame die from the Framed Florets Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Note: You are using the large, fancy frame cut out on this project. Keep the cut out oval center for use on another project.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the frame cut out to the front of the card so it is centered.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 3-1/4" x 4" Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Mount the "wishing you a happily ever after" sentiment from the Celebrating You Set on Clear Block B. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some gold powder from the Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire stamped sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Pick out the open oval with hatch marks along the edge die from the Framed Florets Dies. Put it on top of the stamped and heat embossed sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Note: You are using the solid oval with the sentiment heat embossed on it for this project. Keep the hatch marked oval frame cut out for use on another project.
Adhere the stamped and heat embossed sentiment oval cut out to the front of the card so it is centered inside the fancy white frame cut out.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Mount the large group of two flowers and leaves image from the Framed Florets Set on Block D. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some white powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire stamped image.
Pick out the matching flower group die from the Framed Florets Dies. Put it on top of the stamped and heat embossed image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Place the stamped and heat embossed floral image cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface as the Stampin' Blends do bleed through.
Use the Dark and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends to color in the leaves on the embossed flower group cut out.
If needed, ink up the un-inked Craft Ink Pad using the White Craft Ink Refill that comes with the pad. Or, add additional craft ink refill to the pad if you have used it before as the ink does tend to dry out.
Squeeze the lid of the White Craft Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the petals of the flowers on the heat embossed flower group cut out. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more ink is coming off the Blender Pen.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals in the center of the back of the colored, heat embossed flower group cut out to adhere it to the card front on the upper left side of the fancy white frame as shown.
Pick out the long group of leaves die from the Framed Florets Dies. Put it on top of the 2" x 3" Soft Sea Foam rectangleon a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces,
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaf cut out to the card front so it overlaps the bottom right side of the fancy white frame cut out as shown.
Pick out three trinkets from the Open Leaf Trinkets. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
Cut a 9" piece of the Soft Sea Foam 3/8" Seam Binding Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown so it covers the ends of the trinkets and the end of the leaf cut out.
