Framed Florets Special Rose

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips Scissors:
   - card from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
   - 3-1/4" square from Fresh Freesia Cardstock
   - large rose/peony with leaf cut from purple flowers and dark green leaves design from Favored Flowers 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

2. Pick out the rough triangle die that cuts out triangles with rays from the Split Card Textures Dies. Put it on the left side of the vertical Evening Evergreen rectangle so just a tiny bit of dark green shows on the top, left, and bottom edges and the smaller point is at the bottom . Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool and the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip on the Take Your Pick to remove all the pieces.

3. If you haven't already done so, cut out one of the large purple roses/peonies from the designer paper by hand using the Paper Snips Scissors.

4. Adhere the cut out flower to the bottom of the vertical die cut Evening Evergreen rectangle in the lower right corner. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess designer paper on the bottom and right edges.

5. Adhere the die cut Evening Evergreen rectangle with flower cut out attached to the front of the Blackberry Bliss card.

6. As you are ready to stamp using the Framed Florets Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

7. Mount the "special person" or "birthday" sentiment from the Framed Florets Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Fresh Freesia square.

8. Pick out the large, swirly circle die from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.

9. Adhere the sentiment swirly circle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and slightly closer to the top edge.

10. Cut a 4" piece of the Evening Evergreen 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.

11. Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

12. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown on the bottom left side of the swirly circle cut out.
