Framed Florets Celebration Stars Bag and Card

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. For the card:
   Cut cardstock, designer paper, bag front, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips Scissors:
   - card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" of pale blue bokeh dots design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
   - front of Stars Treat Bag cut down to 3-1/4" x 5"
   - 1" x 2-3/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
   - 2 pieces each 3/4" x 1-3/4" of mirrored foil from Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty Pack

   For treat bag:
   Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - 3-1/4" x 5" of pale blue bokeh dots design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
   - 1-1/4" x 3" of pale blue bokeh dots design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
   - 1" x 2-3/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
   - 3/4" x 1-3/4" of mirrored foil from Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty Pack

2. For the card:

3. If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the front off of a Stars Treat Bag as close to the folds as possible. Then, use the Paper Trimmer to trim it down to 3-1/4" x 5".

4. Use Stampin' Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut down bag front to the center of the Splendid Day Designer Paper rectangle.

5. Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.

6. Lay the ribbon across the designer paper/bag front piece about 1-1/8" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ends of the ribbon in place with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

   Tip: To make sure the sentiment lies flat in a later step, you can put a small strip of Tear & Tape under the ribbon horizontally on the right side if desired.

7. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the designer paper as needed. Adhere to the front of the Pool Party.

8. Pick out the bumpy ended label die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the small strip of Pool Party Cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

9. Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the Pool Party label cut out.

10. As you are ready to stamp using the Framed Florets Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

11. Mount the "Celebrate!" sentiment from the Framed Florets Set on Clear Block G. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the label cut out.

12. Lay the VersaMark stamped label cut out in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some silver powder from the Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire stamped sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.

13. Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).

    Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.

14. Using Tear & Tape Adhesive, adhere the heat embossed sentiment label cut out to the top of the ribbon on the card front as shown so it is centered over the ribbon and the right side of the label just hangs over the right side of the bag front.

15. Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.

16. Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front and tie in place with a half knot so it is centered between the left edge of the card and the left edge of the label cut out. Trim the ends of the ribbon.

17. Pick out the set of three little stars die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of one of the small strips of silver foil on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other small strip of silver foil.

18. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere 5 of the small silver stars to the card front as shown.

19. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 2 small Pool Party gems from the sheet of Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front a shown.

20. For the bag:

21. Open up a Stars Treat Bag.

22. Slide the large piece of Splendid Day Designer Paper into the bag and push it up against the front of the bag to get an idea of where to put adhesive in the next step.

23. Remove the designer paper from the bag and carefully add Stampin' Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen where needed.

24. Slide the designer paper back into the bag and push it against the front panel.

25. Pick out the bumpy topped die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 2-3/4" long. Put it on top of the small piece of Splendid Day Designer Paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

26. Pick out the bumpy ended label die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the small strip of Pool Party Cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

27. Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the Pool Party label cut out.

28. As you are ready to stamp using the Framed Florets Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

29. Mount the "Celebrate!" sentiment from the Framed Florets Set on Clear Block G. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the label cut out.

30. Lay the VersaMark stamped label cut out in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. 33. Cut a 4" piece of the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on one end.

34. Slide the ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag and pull it through so it is even.

35. Cut a 10" piece of the white twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.

36. Tie the twine around the ribbon just above the top of the tag using a small bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon and twine.

37. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the tag to the front of the bag near the top at a slight angle as shown.

38. Pick out the set of three little stars die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the small strip of silver foil on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.

39. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the small silver stars to the bag front as shown.

40. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 2 small Pool Party gems from the sheet of Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the bag front a shown.
