|
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Chicken Wire Elements pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- piece of Chicken Wire Elements 5 or 6 rows wide and 7 or 8 rows long
- 1" x 6" of mostly red plaid design from Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Old Olive Cardstock at least 2" long
Mount the swoosh blob image from the Sunshine Sayings Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it once in the center of the large white rectangle about 1" from the left edge and about 1-1/4" from the top edge. Stamp again just below and to the left WITHOUT re-inking the stamp. Re-ink the stamp and stamp off on Grid Paper then, WITHOUT re-inking stamp it just above and sligthly to the right. Re-ink the stamp and stamp off on Grid Paper then, WITHOUT re-inking stamp it just below and sligthly to the right.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the Old Olive card.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the strip of Under the Mistletoe Designer Paper into the punch as far as it will go. Punch. Repeat with the other end.
If you haven't already done so, use the Paper Snips to trim out the piece of Chicken Wire Elements.
Put a line of SNAIL Adhesive on the stamped large white rectangle about 1-1/2" from the bottom. Adhere the bottom of the cut piece of Chicken Wire Elements to the line of adhesive so the Chicken Wire Elements cover most of the stamped green swoosh blobs.
Adhere the punched strip of designer paper to the white rectangle so it covers the bottom of the Chicken Wire Elements piece and all of the line of SNAIL.
Cut a 5-1/4" piece of 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim.
Fold one end of the burlap trim in half horizontally so the fold is on the bottom of the trim. Cut at a sharp angle towards the fold. Repeat with the other end of the burlap trim so the final piece of trim is about 3-3/4" long with a notch in both ends.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive about 3" long across the top of the designer paper piece. Remove the protective backing and adhere the notched piece of burlap trim so it sticks up above the top edge of the designer paper just a bit.
As you are ready to stamp using the Foxy Friends Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the full, sitting fox image from the Foxy Friends Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the long strip of white cardstock so you get the head of the fox on the cardstock. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the long strip of white cardstock so you get the body of the fox on the cardstock. Make sure you leave room between the stamped head and the body images.
Unlock the Fox Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped fox head into the punch and get it positioned in the center of the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
While continuing to hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped fox body into the punch and get it positioned in the center of the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the single fox tail image from the Foxy Friends Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the long white strip of cardstock.
Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped fox tail into the punch and get it positioned in the center of the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Mount one of the sets of eyes and nose image from the Foxy Friends Set on Block A. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it on the fox head to create the fox face.
Adhere the punched out fox body to the front of the card so the bottom of the body just tucks under the top of the burlap trim and the left side of the body covers the right side of the Chicken Wire Elements piece.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the fox head to the top of the fox body.
Adhere the fox tail to the fox body so it is just tucked behind the body and sticks out to the right side.
Mount desired sentiment(s) from the Sunshine Sayings Set on Block G. Ink them up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp them on the scrap of Old Olive Cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to trim the words apart.
Adhere the words to the front of the card at slight angles just below and to the left of the fox using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
