s imple combination to create a fabulous background image.
Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 very vanilla thick cardstock
Card front base 5 1/2 x 4 /14 of crumb cake cardstock.
Mat for behind main image 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 of basic black
Main Image 5 x 3 3/4 inches of very vanilla thick cardstock.
1. Stamp this piece with larges Sunflower in Early Espresso ink randomly let dry.
2. Run through the emboss/cut machine with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder.
3. Rub Crumb Cake ink lightly all over the cardstock so that the raised wood image starts to appear. You can go dark or light with this; it is up to you.
Allow drying before proceeding.
While your other piece is drying, you can cut your images from the Forever Fern dies in Cajun Craze. Choose whichever ones that you like the most. I used two of the larger dies that do not have a stamp to match. I cut one so that it was just the tip at the bottom of my sentiment piece. I also cut gold brushed metallic pieces from the forever fern dies as well.
Wrap your Mint Macaron basket weave ribbon around your main image after you adhere it to the basic black cardstock. You will then make a bow with an extra ribbon to adhere to later.
Take a scrap piece of Basic Black about 3/4 x 3 stamp your sentiment with versamark then use the white embossing powder and heat.
Layer all of your diecut pieces so that they lay the way you want them to. Adhere to them and then put the sentiment piece on as well. Take your bow from your ribbon adhere to it as well. (I use glue dots) Once your sentiment piece adheres, you can add your gilded gems.
