Flowers Of Beauty Framed Leaves Appreciation |
P retty thank you cards using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from 2024-2026 In Color Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" (I used Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash)
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" x 1/4" of mottled pattern from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (I used the Petunia Pop/Summer Splash and Summer Splash/white patterns)
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" square from Shy Shamrock or Summer Splash Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3" of Petunia Pop/Summer Splash mottled pattern from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle into the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the front of the Shy Shamrock or Summer Splash card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Summer Splash 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the vertical designer paper rectangle so it is about 1-1/8" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the designer paper rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered.
As you are ready to stamp using the Wonderful Thoughts Set or Flowers Of Beauty Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you are much appreciated" sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts Set on Block B. Ink it up with the color of ink that matches the cardstock used on the card (I used Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash). Stamp the sentiment on the 1" x 2" white rectangle.
Tip: If you are making multiple cards using different colors, be sure to clean the stamp between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub.
Pick out the matching die from the Wonderful Thoughts Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the front of the card as shown so it is centered side to side and centered between the ribbon and the bottom of the designer paper rectangle.
Mount the more detailed leaves with stems image from the Flowers Of Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shy Shamrock Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 2" x 3-1/2" white rectangle. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other end of the white rectangle. Be sure to leave space between the images so they can be cut out with the die.
Mount the solid leaves image from the Flowers Of Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Summer Splash Ink Pad. stamp off on Grid Paper before stamping on the cardstock. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it inside one of the previously stamped detailed leaves. Re-ink, stamp off, and stamp it inside the other detailed leaf image.
Pick out the matching, open set of two leaves die from the Flowers Of Beauty Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped leaves images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other image.
Adhere the two leaves cut outs to the top of the designer paper rectangle on the card front as shown so the stems overlap each other, they are centered side to side, and the top leaf is about 1/2" from the top of the designer paper rectangle.
Pick out the detailed, large group of skinny stems die from the Flowers Of Beauty Dies. Put it on top of the Shy Shamrock or Summer Splash square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you cut out the center stems. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the center stems free of the rest of the cut out as shown.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the cut apart stems to the card front as shown so the ends are tucked under the edges of the leaves cut outs.
Pick out the long strip of larger flowers die from the Flowers Of Beauty Dies. Put it on top of the Summer Splash/Petunia Pop mottled Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you cut out 3 flowers. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere two of the flower cut outs to the front of the card so they overlap each other and the stems of the leaves cut outs.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the third flower cut out to the front of the card so it overlap the others and the stems of the leaves cut outs as shown.
Cut a 3" piece of the Summer Splash 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front in the center. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small and 1 large Pretty In Pink or Petunia Pop gems from a sheet of 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers on the card front.
