Flowers Of Beauty Birthday Labels |
P retty birthday card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petunia Pop Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Summer Splash Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-1/4" x 3" of pink and blue mottled pattern from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 3" of pink brushstroke stripes pattern from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle into the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the center of the Summer Splash rectangle and then to the front of the Petunia Pop card.
Pick out the long, skinny rectangle with rounded ends die from the Unbounded Love Dies. Put it on top of one of the Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper rectangles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other two designer paper rectangles.
As you are ready to stamp using the Flowers Of Beauty Set or Unbounded Love Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Unbounded Love Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Summer Splash Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" white rectangle.
Pick out the slightly larger, open, stitched-edged rectangle with notched corners die from the Unbounded Love Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the designer paper label cut outs and the sentiment label cut outs on top of the card as shown to figure out spacing and layout. When happy with the layout, adhere the pieces in place one at a time. Use Stampin' Seal to adhere the designer paper labels and Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label.
Mount the small, more detailed flower image from the Flowers Of Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petunia Pop Ink Pad. Stamp it twice on the remaining white rectangle leaving room to cut it out each time. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Mount the small, more solid flower image from the Flowers Of Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pretty In Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it inside one of the previously stamped flowers on the white rectangle. Repeat with the other flower.
Pick out the open, small flower die from the Flowers Of Beauty Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped flowers on the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other flower.
Use a small dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the center of each small flower cut out to adhere them to the upper right and lower left corners of the sentiment label cut out as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small gems from a sheet of Iridescent Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers.
