P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products including one that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2023.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/4" of tightly packed dark and light pink roses and dark green leaves design from Favored Flowers 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Fold the Petal Pink card. Figure out which side of the card is the front of the card.
Place the opened Petal Pink card on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so it is in the upper left corner of the tool and is horizontal with the front of the card on the right side. Use the stylus to score all the way down the cardstock at the 4-5/8"and 8-1/8" marks.
Place the opened Petal Pink card on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so it is in the upper left corner of the tool and is vertical with the front of the card which has already been scored on the top. Use the stylus to score down the cardstock to the crease line in the center of the card at the 3/8"and 5-1/8" marks.
Adhere the piece of Favored Flowers Designer Paper to the center of the large Sweet Sorbet rectangle.
Adhere the matted designer paper to the card front so it is centered inside the box created by the scored lines.
Pick out the more solid "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the thin Petal Pink rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the thin Sweet Sorbet rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the Sweet Sorbet rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Sweet Sorbet (dark pink) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the detailed "thanks" word cut out. Adhere it to the center of the more solid "thanks" word cut out.
As you are ready to stamp using the Flowering Tulips Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the circular "thank you" sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the smooth circle die that cuts out a 1-5/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Put Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the layered thanks cut out on the center letters. Adhere it in place over the sentiment circle punch out so it covers the words "thank you" in the center but you can still see some of the swirls and most of the sentiments running around the edge of the circle.
Add Stampin' Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to the back of the layered circle/thanks cut out and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered side to side across the designer paper about 1" from the top of the designer paper.
Cut a 10" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown on the lower right side of the sentiment circle cut out.
