Flourishing Phrases Note Vine Banners |
P retty note card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Always Artichoke Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Vellum Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 5" from Always Artichoke Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Mount the Hardwood background stamp on Block F. Leave it face up on the work surface in front of you and ink it up by pouncing or rubbing the Crumb Cake Ink Pad all over it.
Leave the inked up Hardwood stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the large rectangle of Crumb Cake Cardstock on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Adhere the Hardwood stamped layer to the front of the Always Artichoke card.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide the smaller piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide the strip of Vellum Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Place the punched strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock into the Garden Trellish Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the punched, dry embossed strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock to the front of the card so it is about 1" in from the right side of the Hardwood layer.
Put a small amount of SNAIL Adhesive horizontally across the Crumb Cake banner about 1-1/2" from the top of the banner.
Adhere the vellum banner to the card front by pressing it to the horizontal line of SNAIL so the right edge of the vellum banner is about 1/2" in from the right side of the Hardwood layer and the top of the vellum banner is about 1/4" down from the top of the Crumb Cake banner.
Pick out the large flower and leaf flourish from the Flourish Thinlits. Place the Always Artichoke rectangle on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flourish thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Place the flourish cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the flourish cut out. Flip the flourish cut out over and adhere it to the front of the card at an angle so the left flower is just at the left edge of the Hardwood layer and the right flower just overlaps the upper left corner of the vellum banner.
Mount the "Just a Note" sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Always Artichoke Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the strip of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Unlock the Pretty Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch. Carefully line up the sentiment so it is centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use the edge of the brush tip of the Always Artichoke Marker to ink up the edges of the punched sentiment.
Adhere the punched sentiment to the card front so it is centered over the line of SNAIL used to adhere the vellum banner.
Adhere two medium-sized (3/16") gold Metallic Enamel Shapes to the sentiment punch out, one on either side.
Cut an 8" piece of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Adhere the bow to the lower right side of the sentiment punch out using a Mini Glue Dot.
