Field Of Flowers Pastel Purple Flowers |
P retty pastel card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle into the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder so the script lines run horizontally across the horizontal rectangle. Use the line printed on the front of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the large Highland Heather rectangle then to the front of the Basic White Thick card. Make sure the words are right side up!
As you are ready to stamp using the Field Of Flowers Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the stem with leaves image from the Field Of Flowers Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the larger white strip leaving room to stamp the flowers on the end of the stems and still punch everything out.
Mount the single, large, 5-petal flower image from the Field Of Flowers Set on Block A. Ink it up with Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it at the top of one of the stems. WITHOUT RE-INKING, rotate the image slightly and stamp it again. Repeat these steps at the top of the other stem.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped flowers on stems with leaves into the punch and get them centered in the punching area so the flowers are near one edge of the circle and the stem goes off the opposite edge. Punch.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the larger strip of Highland Heather into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the flower circle punch out to the center of the Highland Heather circle punch out.
Adhere the matted circles to the front of the card so they are about 1" from the left edge of the card and about 3/4" from the top edge of the card.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Field Of Flowers Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining strip of Highland Heather in the center near one end, leaving room to punch the sentiment out.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the matted circle punch outs and sticks out to the right side.
Mount the set of six small flowers image from the Field Of Flowers Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small strip of white cardstock as close to the bottom edge as possible so the two smallest flowers are on the bottom.
Unlock the Confetti Flowers Border Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped white strip into the punch so it butts up against the guide at the back of the punch and the flowers line up inside the punching areas. Punch.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere one of the larger small flower punch outs to the front of the card in the upper right corner. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere two more of the larger small flower punch outs to the front of the card forming a rough triangle of small flowers in the upper right corner.
Cut a 4" piece of the Purple Posy 1/2" ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot at a slight angle to the front of the card where the sentiment label punch out and matted circles meet on the lower left side of the circles.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one Gorgeous Grape and one Highland Heather pearl from the sheet of Pastel Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the large flowers in the punched out circle.
