Feb 2019 Coffee and Cards Home to Roost
S ome of you will not like this technique because you have no control, but I love the results! Just drop your paper onto the face up stamp, you can lightly press if you wish.
Fold your 8 1/2 x 5 1/5 piece of Cherry Cobbler in half. Stamp the grass onto 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Very Vanilla with Soft Suede stamping repeatedly.
You may stamp words if you wish and attach to the inside of the card.
Ink the crackle stamp with Suede Ink and place face up on the table. Now drop you 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Suede onto the stamp. I tapped mine down in a few places. I did drop mine several times but never reinked. You can also do the same technique with your Vanilla square.
Stamp words onto the bottom of Suede with black ink. Next, stamp the 4 x 3/4 piece of Cherry Cobbler with Soft Suede and the grid stamp from Timeless Textures. I did use my Stampperatus so my lines lined up. Next, add the Cobbler piece to the Suede, add Linen Trim and attach to card base.
Stamp Rooster with memento ink and color as shown with blends. I used the Bronze with Poppy to do his belly, and both Poppy and Cobble on his head. You can color as you wish. Add to the
2 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Cobble and attach to card with Dimensionals.
