6 inches Come to Gather Ribbon
Scrap piece of Merry Merlot
Scrap piece of Crushed Curry
Create your very own ink pad by taking 2 diaper wipes and folding in half and then half again. You can use any colours you want but for this card I used Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. Starting with the darkest colour and keeping in mind the size of my stamp I put four drops of Merry Merlot randomly on the diaper wipe pad. Next I did the same with the Cajun Craze. Finally I filled in the blank areas with the Crushed Curry to fill in the stamping area. Now you have a personalized ink pad that will last for a couple projects. The more you stamp the more blended the colours will become.
Using one piece of the Whisper White cardstock randomly stamp the leaf image all over to create your own designer paper. Stamp one or two leaves on the corner of the second piece (to use as the insert) as well as the envelope.
Adhere the piece of DSP about one third of the way down on the Whisper White. Wrap the ribbon around the centre of the DSP and adhere at the back. This whole piece can now be adhered to the front of the card base. You can also add the insert to the inside of the card.
Using the Seasonal Layers maple leaf dies cut a solid leaf from Merry Merlot and a veined leaf from crushed curry. Glue the veins onto the top of the solid leaf.
Stamp your sentiment onto scrap white and punch out using the Story Label punch. Punch a second piece from Merry Merlot.
Create a layered effect by cutting the Merry Merlot piece in half lengthwise and glueing to the back of the sentiment so that there is an even border on the top and the bottom.
Adhere the leaf to the left of the sentiment. Do this first so that when you place the sentiment on the card you can centre the whole piece and not just the sentiment.
Using Dimensionals Adhere to the front of the card center if it over the ribbon and DSP.
