Extraordinary Flora Scattered Flora Congratulations |
P retty congratulations card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white leaves on pink background design from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Extraordinary Flora Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper rectangle.
Mount the "congratulations" sentiment and the dashed lines image from the Extraordinary Flora Set on Block C together so the sentiment is on top of the lines and they are centered. Ink up the stamps with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp them in the bottom right corner of the vertical designer paper rectangle.
Lay the stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder so it covers both of the images. Tap off excess powder. Return excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Carefully peel off a strip of Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape from the roll so you have a strip 5-1/2" long. Adhere the strip to the 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" white rectangle. Smooth bubbles and wrinkles out of the washi tape as you go.
Pull out the Extraordinary Flora Die. Put it on top of the washi tape/white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over all the flower/leaf images. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Place the heat embossed designer paper rectangle on a Silicone Craft Sheet to protect your work surface. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay some of the washi tape cut outs on the designer paper so they cover all but the lower right corner as shown. Once happy with the arrangement, adhere the pieces in place using Stampin' Seal and/or Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess on the edges.
Adhere the designer paper with washi tape pieces attached to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle.
Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the layered rectangle so it is just above the heat embossed sentiment. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Flirty Flamingo card.
Cut a 10" piece from the Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the ribbon just above the sentiment.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 7 small jewels from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card as shown.
