Paint/Brayer Technique with Snow Wonder Stamp Set |
|
I used a embossing/brayer technique for the background of this card using Snow Wonder stampset.
|
Dimensions:
Smoky Slate 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at half
and 5 1/4 x 4
Glossy White 3 3/4 x 5
Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4
Shimmery White 5 x 2 1/2
Extra: piece of paper towel
For the background:
Stamp the snowflakes on the Glossy White paper with the Frost White Shimmer Paint.
Technique: Shake the paint well. Using a sponge dauber, dip it into the cover of the paint bottle . Use the dauber to "paint" the snowflake stamp and then stamp on the Glossy White.
Let dry.
Once the snowflakes are dry, use the brayer and Misty Moonlight, brayer over the entire Glossy White piece. When it is completely colored, take the paper towel and wipe off the excess ink.
Stamp the snow man in Smoky Slate and two sets of the trees in Mint Macaron. Cut out with the dies.
Tear some of the Shimmery White paper off along the top. Adhere to the smaller Smoky Slate and then onto the card base.
Stamp the sentiment in Smoky Slate in the bottom right corner. I used a stamp from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
Color the leaves on the snowman's hat with a Mint Macaron marker and the berries with Real Red.
Add the pine trees to the card. Adhere the snowman using Mini Dimensionals.
Add the White White to the card inside.
