Eden's Garden Peaceful Foliage |
E legant Christmas card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Evening Evergreen Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 5-1/4" of sprigs of light green and gold foil leaves and berries on darker green background design from Ever Eden 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 5-1/2" from Gold Foil Sheets
- 2" square from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Mount the large spray of leaves and berries image from the Eden's Garden Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it on the lower right side of the large, vertical white rectangle so the large berries are in the lower right corner.
Mount the small sprig with pointy leaves and no berries image from the Eden's Garden Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it a few times above and below the previously stamped image as shown remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Pick out the long, skinny leaf vine die from the Eden Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Foil Sheet rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the gold side is face up and the tips of the leaves and berries almost touch the long edge of the foil sheet. Run through the machine a couple of times. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the back long edge of the designer paper strip to adhere it to the flat edge of the gold foil cut out just to the side of the stitched line. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess gold foil on the ends.
Adhere the layered designer paper/gold foil cut out to the left side of the stamped white rectangle so the left, top, and bottom edges line up.
Adhere the white rectangle with designer paper and foil cut out attached to the front of the Evening Evergreen card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Peaceful Deer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "sending love & peace this season" sentiment from the Peaceful Deer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 1-3/8" diameter. Put it on top of the sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 1-5/8" diameter. Put it on top of the Evening Evergreen square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the center of the Evening Evergreen circle cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment circle to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the designer paper and gold foil cut out a bit and is just below center of the card front as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up large gem from a sheet of Gilded Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the card.
