Easy Punch Art Christmas Card (6x6) |
|
L
ook at this cute card made with a new designer series (DSP) paper stack and the Christmas tree punch from Stampin' Up. The sweater ribbon trim is no longer available but the pom-pom trim would work very nicely.

These instructions are to make 4 cards. Tear out 4 pieces from the DSP stack, 2 of each design.
Cut all 4 pieces in half to make 16 pieces (3 1/2 inches).
Punch out 3 trees on 8 of the 3 1/2 inch pieces.
Layer each on an alternated patterned piece of 3 1/2 inch paper.
Tear out 4 pieces of the DSP, 2 of each design.
Glue 2 strips to a 6 x 6 piece of DSP for the card front.
Cut a 12 x 12 piece of whisper white into four 6x6 squares.
Tear out four more 6 x 6 pieces of DSP and score in half (3 1/2 inches).
Glue the card front to one half of the DSP and the other half attach to the whisper white. The DSP should be inside the card to act as a hinge.
Cut 4 pieces of the pom-pom trim into approx. 12 inches.
Wrap the pom-pom trim around the card front and tie in a knot. Trim any excess.
Stamp 'Merry Christmas" on the inside.
Don't forget to sign the back!
