Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/2" from Whisper White Thick Cardstock
- 3" square of Highland Heather Cardstock
Place the Handwritten background stamp on Grid Paper on your work surface so the rubber is facing up. Make sure the top of the stamp is at the top of your work area or your words will be stamped upside down. Ink the stamp up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad by rubbing the pad across the stamp. Leave the inked up stamp laying on your work surface inky rubber side up. Place the bottom 2" of the Gorgeous Grape rectangle on the top of the inky stamp. Fold the Grid Paper over the stamp and rub firmly along the top of the stamp. Unfold the Grid Paper and carefully remove the cardstock from the background stamp.
Cut a 5" piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the stamped Gorgeous Grape cardstock so the ribbon covers the top of the stamped words. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back. Adhere it to the front of the Highland Heather card.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Detailed With Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the square of Highland Heather Cardstock.
Pick out the scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a scalloped square that is 1" wide. Place the sentiment square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped square framelit on top so it forms a diamond shape around the image in the center. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment diamond to the lower right corner of the card front.
Pick out the butterfly thinlit from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits. Place the piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the butterfly thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Put a tiny bit of SNAIL Adhesive in the middle of the body of the butterfly cut out. Use the smallest amount of SNAIL possible.
Adhere the butterfly cut out to your Grid Paper. Remember not to use too much adhesive, just the tiny bit of SNAIL in the middle of the body.
Roll the Sponge Brayer across the open Highland Heather Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, roll it repeatedly across the butterfly cut out. Get more ink on the brayer as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want. Be careful not to let the wings of the butterfly move or lift or fold.
Carefully peel your butterfly off the Grid Paper.
Place the Handwritten background stamp on the Grid Paper on your work surface so the rubber is facing up. Make sure the top of the stamp is at the top of your work area or your words will be stamped upside down. Ink the stamp up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad by rubbing the pad across the stamp. Leave the inked up stamp laying on your work surface inky rubber side up. Place the butterfly cut out upside down on top of the inky stamp. Fold the Grid Paper over the stamp and rub firmly all over. Unfold the Grid Paper and carefully remove the butterfly cut out.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals behind the butterfly's body to adhere the colored and stamped butterfly cut out to the top of the card front.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Brayers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
