Design A Treat Reindeer Candy Boxes |
C ute treat boxes made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 5" square from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Pick out the box die from the Design A Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the Soft Suede square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Use the Bone Folder to fold on all score lines.
As you are ready to stamp using the Design A Treat Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Orient the box cut out on your work surface so one of the rectangles with thin tabs on either side is on the top. Mount the face image from the Design A Treat Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the top rectangle.
Mount the scattering of dots image from the Design A Treat Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom rectangle and on the two side rectangles. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the thin tabs on the sides of the top and bottom rectangles to adhere the sides together and form the box bottom.
Fill the box with treats - candy, coins, jewelry, etc.
Fold down the tops of the box with the curves on top and bring the two curves together in the center so they are touching and pointing up.
One at a time, slide the slits in the other points over the curves and lock in place.
Pick out the antlers die from the Design A Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the Crumb Cake rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Fold the bottom tab of the antlers cut out so it is flat and the antlers are sticking up from the back.
Put Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the bottom of the flap and adhere to the top of the closed box right in front of the curved pieces in the center.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Real Red ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the top of the box so it is centered on the bottom flap of the antlers cut out in front of the curves in the center of the box top.
