Day To Celebrate Megaphone and Confetti

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
   - 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
   - 2-1/8" x 3-3/8" from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
   - 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock

2. As you are ready to stamp using the Day To Celebrate Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.

3. Mount the confetti image from the Day To Celebrate Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Balmy Blue rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the image go off the edges of the rectangle. Clean the stamp using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub, Stampin' Pierce Mat, but leave it on the block.

4. Re-ink the confetti image on Block B with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Balmy Blue rectangle filling in any empty spaces. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the image go off the edges of the rectangle. Clean the stamp and put it away.

5. Adhere the stamped Balmy Blue rectangle to the center of the large Gorgeous Grape rectangle and then to the front of the Blueberry Bushel card.

6. Mount the megaphone image from the Day To Celebrate Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the horizontal white rectangle as shown.

7. Mount the "it's a good day to celebrate" sentiment from the Day To Celebrate Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal white rectangle as shown.

8. Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the small Gorgeous Grape rectangle.

9. Cut a 12" piece of the Balmy Blue twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.

10. Fold the twine into thirds. Lay the folded twine across the bottom of the matted megaphone/sentiment rectangle as shown. Fold the ends of the folded twine over and secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

11. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Gorgeous Grape rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the center of the card front as shown.

12. Cut a 10" piece of the Balmy Blue twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.

13. Slide one end of the twine under the twine already on the card front and tie in place with a small bow. Trim the ends.

14. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 5 Pool Party discs from a sheet of Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
