Dandy Garden Birthday card |
|
I love this Dandy Garden paper pack. It is so versatile. If you don’t need a birthday card, this design would work just as well if you stamped Thinking of You on the front.
Card Base: Cut Misty Moonlight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Bumblebee paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut print paper from Dandy Garden paper pack 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach card front to card mat.
Cut 15” of Mossy Meadow Braided Trim, wrap around card front/card mat and knot at right side. I placed mine ¾ from bottom and used glue dots to keep it in place.
Stamp Happy Birthday with Bumblebee ink on basic white paper and punch out with smaller oval in the double oval punch. When punching the Happy Birthday, keep some white space to the left of stamped sentiment. Punch the larger scalloped oval using the same punch from Bumblebee. Attach stamped white oval to scalloped oval and attach to the card front. I placed mine so the lower edge of the oval was under the Mossy Meadow trim. Attach a Ladybug Trinket to the stamped oval with glue dots.
