Dance With Me Spotlighted Couple

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Lemon Lolly Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
   - 3-7/8" x 5-1/8' from Basic White Cardstock
   - copy paper

2. Put the white rectangle on some Grid Paper vertically. Use a couple of small pieces of washi tape in the upper left corner and lower right corner to hold it in place.

3. Cut the copy paper in half. Lay the halves across the vertical white rectangle so they leave an opening between them that is narrow in the upper right corner and widens out at the bottom left corner. Use pieces of washi tape to hold the copy paper pieces in place.

4. Rub a Blending Brush across the open Daffodil Delight Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the opening between the pieces of copy paper and onto the white rectangle. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.

5. Carefully remove the pieces of washi tape and copy paper.

6. As you are ready to stamp using the Dance With Me Set or Day To Celebrate Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

7. Mount the couple dancing the swing image from the Dance With Me Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the bottom left corner of the blended white rectangle so they are centered in the spotlight.

8. Mount the "it's a good day to celebrate" sentiment from the Day To Celebrate Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the white rectangle as shown.

9. Mount the music notes image from the Dance With Me Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the white rectangle as shown.

10. Mount the sparkles image from the Dance With Me Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it repeatedly all over the spotlight area on the white rectangle as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.

11. Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the Night Of Navy rectangle and then to the front of the Lemon Lolly card.

12. Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Night Of Navy & Gold 1/2" Glittered Ribbon.

13. Tie a knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

14. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the top of the spotlight.
