Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Terracotta Tile Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 6" from Terracotta Tile Cardstock
- 2" x 3" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
Fill the large brush tip Aqua Painter with water.
Place the vanilla rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Tip: Make sure you don’t have anything you don’t want to get inky near by!
Squeeze the lid of the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Open the pad, but leave the lid exposed. Squeeze the Aqua Painter to get some water in the lid. Stir the water and ink together with the brush of the Aqua Painter. Hold the inky brush tip a couple of inches over the vanilla rectangle and flick the brush with your finger to make drops of inky water fall onto the cardstock. Repeat until you have the coverage you want, getting more inky water on the brush as needed. Set aside to allow to dry.
Tip: Clean the brush tip of the Aqua Painter by scribbling on Grid Paper until no more color is coming off or run the tip under some running water until it is clear.
Mount the large daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block D so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad. Stamp twice onto horizontal strip of Terracotta Tile Cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down on each image. Leave room between the daisy images.
Unlock the Daisy Punch. Hold it upside down so you see the punching area. Get a daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other daisy image.
Adhere one daisy punch out on top of the other so they are off set to make one full daisy.
Mount the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block C so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad. Stamp onto one end of the horizontal strip of Crushed Curry Cardstock. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch. Hold it upside down so you see the punching area. Get the daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the small daisy punch out to the center of the big, full daisy.
If the vanilla background is dry, proceed with the next step. Speed up drying with the Heat Tool if needed.
Mount the stem with leaves image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it at a slight diagonal onto the vanilla rectangle so the bottom of the stem is in the lower left corner and the top is pointing to the upper right corner.
Mount the “Friend” or “Smile” sentiment from the Daisy Lane Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad. Stamp it on the vanilla rectangle to the right of the stem about 1” from the bottom.
Adhere the vanilla rectangle to the Crushed Curry rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2” piece of Crushed Curry 3/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the cardstock layers. Flip the cardstock over and adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the adhesive and add SNAIL to the back of the Crushed Curry rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Terracotta Tile card.
Adhere the layered daisy flower to the end of the stem.
Peel the protective backing off the back of a Perennial Essence Floral Center and adhere it to the center of the daisy.
Cut a 4” piece of Crushed Curry 3/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Slide the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front and tie it in place with a half knot under the sentiment. Trim the ends.
