Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Dapper Denim Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" of crackled Crushed Curry design from Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack
- 3" x 3-1/2" of ombre Dapper Denim design from Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack
- 1" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock at least 1" wide
As you are ready to stamp on cardstock or designer paper using the Daisy Delight or Pocketful of Sunshine Sets, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the single stem with leaves image from the Daisy Delight Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large white rectangle so the leaves are pointing up and the top of the stem is about 3/4" from the top of the rectangle and the whole stem is about 1-1/2" from the right side of the rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Old Olive Ink Pad and stamp it again just to the right of the first stem so it is slightly lower and angling towards the top right corner just a bit. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp again with the Old Olive Ink Pad and stamp it again just to the left of the first stem so it is lower and angling towards the top left corner just a bit.
Mount the outline small daisy flower image from the Daisy Delight Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of one of the stems. Repeat with the other two stems remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Insert the strip of Crushed Curry Color Theory Designer Paper into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Insert the thin strip of Whisper White into the Banner Triple Punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Adhere the punched strip of Crushed Curry Color Theory Designer Paper to the large, stamped white rectangle so the notch is on the left and the bottom of the strip is about 1" from the bottom of the white rectangle. Trim off excess designer paper on the right side as needed using Paper Snips.
Mount the pocket image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad using a light touch. Stamp the pocket in the center of the Dapper Denim Color Theory Designer Paper rectangle.
Mount the line of straight stitching image from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad. Stamp it on the previously stamped pocket image near the top.
Pick out the pocket framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped pocket rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the pocket framelit on top so it is centered over the pocket image. Don't worry if the tabs on the side of the pocket aren't on the paper. You are going to be cutting the tabs off anyway! Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Paper Snips to cut off the tabs on the pocket along the score lines.
Mount the "pocketful of sunshine" sentiment from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Do NOT stamp!
Use the brush tip of the Dapper Denim Marker to carefully ink up only the words "pocketful of" on the inky stamp.
Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp the sentiment on the punched white strip so the notch is on the left and the sentiment is about 1/4" in from the notch.
Adhere the punched sentiment strip across the bottom of the pocket cut out about 1/4" up from the angled bottom so the notch is on the left and sticks out to the left side of the pocket about 3/8" of an inch.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Old Olive Baker's Twine.
Lay the twine across the bottom of the pocket just below the sentiment banner. Flip the pocket over and fold the ends of the twine over. Adhere the ends of the twine in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and add some more SNAIL to the back of the pocket cut out. Adhere the pocket cut out to the stamped white layer so the bottom point of the pocket is near the bottom of the white rectangle and the right edge of the pocket is about 1/4" in from the right edge of the white rectangle and the sentiment banner is centered over the Crushed Curry notched banner.
Use Paper Snips to trim off excess white cardstock from the sentiment banner on the right side as needed.
Adhere the white rectangle to the Crushed Curry rectangle and then to the front of the Dapper Denim card.
Mount the "for you" sentiment from the Pocketful of Sunshine Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock. Leave room on all sides to cut it out with the framelit.
Pick out the tag framelit from the Pocket Framelits. Place the stamped "for you" sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tag framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment and the tab is on the top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the tag to the card front so the tab is tucked under the pocket on the bottom right side.
Cut an 8" piece of Old Olive Baker's Twine. Tie a small bow in the middle. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the front of the card so it is on the left side of the Baker's Twine already on the card front.
Pick out one of the Dapper Denim shapes from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the sentiment banner just above the "e" in the word "sunshine."
