Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Night of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Old Olive Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Lightly spritz the large white rectangle with water and insert into the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Home Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Country Home Set on an appropriately sized block. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the large Old Olive rectangle.
Place the stamped Old Olive rectangle on the Paper Trimmer so the lower left corner is on the 1-3/4" measurement line and the lower right corner is on the 2-3/4" measurement line (the cardstock will be at an angle). Cut. You should now have an angled piece that is 1-7/8" tall on the left side and 2-7/8" tall on the right side.
Mount the jug image from the Country Home Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the stitched square die from the Stitched Shapes Dies that cuts out a stitched square that is 2-1/8" wide. Put it on top of the stamped jug image on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the jug is centered. Run through the tool.
Put the stamped jug square cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring the image with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the dark colors first and then the light colors to blend the colors and color in the spaces. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Light and Dark Night of Navy Markers to color in the jug.
Use the Color Lifter Marker as needed to remove excess ink and to help blend the colors and to lighten an area in the center of the jug as if light was hitting it.
Place the colored jug square cut out on a Stampin' Pierce Mat. Use an Exacto knife to cut a small slit in the top of the jug.
If the dry embossed white rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if needed.
Adhere the stamped, angled piece of Old Olive Cardstock to the bottom of the dry embossed white rectangle.
Cut a 5" piece of 3/8" Denim Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the dry embossed white/Old Olive rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the dry embossed white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Night of Navy card.
Pick out the three, long, skinny, detailed feather/leaf dies from the Detailed Peacock Dies. Put them on top of the small Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry rectangles on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Slide the three different colored leaf cut outs into the slit cut in the top of the jug on the square cut out. Make sure the leafy parts are showing on the front side and the stems are hidden behind.
Secure the stems to the back of the square cut out using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the square cut out and a Mini Stampin' Dimensional behind the thickest part of the leaves. Remove the protective backings and adhere the square cut out with leaves attached to the front of the card on the left side so it overlaps the ribbon a bit.
Cut a 3" piece of 3/8" Denim Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at an angle so it is on the right side of the square cut out and in line with the ribbon already on the card.
