Country Bouquet Framed Friendship |
P retty friendship card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-7/8" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3" x 4-3/4" of row of tiny white hearts on red background design from Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the hearts are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
Place the Sweet Sorbet rectangle on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so it is in the upper left corner of the tool. Use the stylus to score all the way down the cardstock at the 1/8" mark on all 4 sides of the cardstock. Just rotate the cardstock each time before scoring down.
Adhere the scored Sweet Sorbet rectangle to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Pick out the stitched square die that cuts out a 1-7/8" square from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the Country Floral Lane Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the top. Make sure the hearts on the paper are right side up! Run through the machine.
Note: You are using the large designer paper rectangle with a square cut out of it for this project. Keep the square cut out for use on another project.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the designer paper with the square cut out of the top on top of the Petal Pink rectangle so it is centered.
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Bouquet Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount one of the shorter sentiments of your choice from the Country Bouquet Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Petal Pink rectangle so it is centered side to side inside the square cut out of the designer paper and is about 3/8" from the top of the square.
Mount the set of two small solid hearts image from the Country Bouquet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp on the Petal Pink rectangle just below the stamped sentiment on the right side inside the square cut into the designer paper.
Mount the set of two small outline hearts image from the Country Bouquet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid hearts on the Petal Pink rectangle.
Adhere the designer paper with the square cut out of the top in place over the stamped Petal Pink rectangle.
Adhere the matted Petal Pink/designer paper rectangle to the front of the card in the center.
Mount the set of two larger hearts image where the larger one is slightly striped and the smaller one is upside down just below it from the Country Bouquet Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal white strip, leaving room to punch it out.
Mount the large outline heart image from the Country Bouquet Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the larger, slightly striped heart stamped on the white strip.
Unlock the Country Bouquet Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped hearts into the opened punch and get them centered in the corresponding punching areas. Punch.
Adhere the larger heart punch out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the left side of the designer paper between the left edge of the paper and the left edge of the square cut out.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the smaller heart punch out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom right side of the larger heart punch out and the bottom of the square cut into the designer paper.
Cut an 8" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half. Tie a half knot in the center of the folded ribbon. Trim and fray the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is centered over the bottom right corner of the square cut into the designer paper.
