S oft and pretty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products including one you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2024.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of light blue textile design from Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 4-1/2" of stippled gray and blue botanicals on white background design from Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 3/4" x 3-1/4" of brownish gray textile design from Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the 2" x 4-1/2" strip of botanical pattern Softly Stippled Designer Paper to the left side of the vertical blue textile Softly Stippled Designer Paper so it is centered top to bottom and is about 1/4" from the left side.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin brownish gray textile Softly Stippled Designer Paper strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the larger scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Adhere the punched designer paper strip to the layered designer paper rectangle so it is about 1-1/8" from the bottom and the punched edge overlaps the botanical designer paper strip by about 1". Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess designer paper on the right edge.
Adhere the layered designer paper rectangle to the front of the Pool Party card.
Carefully punch out one small, closed wing butterfly from a sheet of Paper Butterfly Accents.
Place the butterfly accent on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Make sure that the butterfly's body and antennae are on the right side.
Rub a Small Blending Brush across the open Pool Party Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub the inky Blending Brush carefully over the butterfly accent to get the color coverage you want. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the colored butterfly to adhere it to the card front as shown so it just overlaps the top left corner of the punched brownish gray designer paper strip.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cottage Wreaths Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "grateful" sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Basic White rectangle.
Pick out the small postage stamp rectangle die that cuts out a postage stamp rectangle that is 5/8" x 1-1/2" from the Perennial Postage Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment postage stamp cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the top of the punched designer paper strip and is about 5/8" from the right side of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small Pool Party dots from the sheet of Glossy Dots Assortment making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
Cut a 16" piece of the Balmy Blue twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot (squish it down as needed) to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom right corner of the sentiment postage stamp cut out.
