Corona Crafting - May #5 |
|
A s this card was created in the 'pre-launch' of the product suite, the suggested co-ordinating cardstock 'BumbleBee' was not yet available - I simply used a very good substitute in 'Crushed Curry'! xx
Using Crushed Curry A4 cardstock, make an A6 Tent-Fold Card blank...
place A4 in trimmer in Portrait format, Cut at 10.cm. Rotate the cut strip to Landscape and score at 14.8cm. Fold on scoreline and burnish.
From DSP, cut the green patterned paper to 9.2cm x 13.5cm.
Fussy cut 3 daisies, 2 with a leaf attached and 1 without.
In Whisper White card, cut 2 panels 9.5cm x 13.5cm for the card front and 9cm x 13.3cm for the insert.
Die Cut the Ornate Rectangle too.
Stamp the desired sentiment on the die-cut in Early Espresso Ink and leave to dry.
Layer up the DSP rectangle onto the larger Whisper White Rectangle, then glue onto the card front - REMEMBER, we're using the tent-fold in landscape formate, so the spine/fold should be on the left.
If desired, use a remnant DSP strip to decorate the edge of the insert Whisper White panel, stamp any desired sentiment, then glue into inside of card.
Cut 2, 7cm lengths of ribbon, fold each in half, to make 'V' shape, and glue/tape to underside of die-cut sentiment rectangle in TOP LEFT corner and in BOTTOM RIGHT. Snip the ends of the ribbon to make neat points.
Adhere Die cut to card front with Dimensionals.
Finally, glue the daisies into place on the corners of the die cut rectangle...
I used a daisy with a leaf in the top left, then layered together the remaining 2 daisies and positioned them on the bottom right corner.
