Corner In Bloom White Daisies Hello |
P retty hello card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Petal Pink Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Corner In Bloom Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
DO THIS STEP FIRST!
Mount the corner of linked daisies image from the Corner In Bloom Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Saddle Brown StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it in a corner of the Crumb Cake rectangle as close to the edges as possible. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it in the other corner creating a rectangle frame.
Put some White Craft Ink Refill that comes with the pad onto the White Craft Ink Pad in a small glob.
Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad and color in the daisies on the rectangle image. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Get more ink on the tip of the pen as needed. Set aside to allow to dry.
Insert the large Petal Pink rectangle into the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Petal Pink rectangle to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Pick out the connected sentiments die from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it inside the Embossing Folder from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder so it fits into the grooves around the corresponding sentiments cut into the inside of the top flap (the one with the line and logo printed on it) of the Embossing Folder. Place the remaining Petal Pink rectangle into the layered dies/embossing folder so it is centered over the "hello" sentiment area. Close the folder and put it on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. This will cut out and emboss the word image at the same time.
If your daisies are dry, proceed with the next step.
Adhere the stamped and colored daisies rectangle to the front of the card in the center.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the "hello" cut out to the center of the daisies frame.
