|
T
o complete my Mother's Day gift box, I filled it with 4 blank cards that could be used for a variety of occasions.
This one is a birthday card.
Pale Papaya Cardstock Base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" to create an A2 card.
Very Vanilla Cardstock mat: 4" x 5 1/4"
Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper: 4" x 3 1/2" (bottom half of card)
Coordinating designer series paper: 4" x 2 3/4" to cut for middle section of card.
Coordinating ribbon: 12"
Sentiment stamp
Die cut images to decorate
Embellishments
Stamp sentiment at the top of the Very Vanilla mat.
Adhere designer series paper to the bottom half of the mat.
Cut one of the 4 " edges of the coordinating designer series paper to create an angle with cutting tool or die cut. Adhere to the front of card, under the sentiment and slightly overlapping the bottom designer series paper.
Cut 5" of ribbon. Center ribbon over the angled piece of designer series paper. Attach by wrapping both ends around to the back of mat and adhering (just the ends).
Loop remaining ribbon under the ribbon going across the front of card and tie a knot or bow. Trim ends.
Decorate with die cut images and some embellishments as desired.
