Circle Sayings Eclipse Thanks |
F un eclipse thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Tahitian Tide Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Circle Sayings Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the block sentiment of choice from the Circle Sayings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner on the horizontal Tahitian Tide rectangle.
Insert the stamped, Tahitian Tide rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the stamped and dry embossed Tahitian Tide rectangle to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Unlock the 2-3/8" Circle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the Daffodil Delight strip into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the Basic Black strip.
Mount the rays of light image from the Circle Sayings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it repeatedly around the edge of one half of the Daffodil Delight circle so the rays go off the edge. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the black circle punch out to the top of the stamped yellow circle punch out so just a sliver of the stamped edge of the yellow circle shows as shown.
Unlock the Cloud Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the white strip into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the end of the white strip so you get a partial cloud.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the cloud punch outs and the layered eclipse circles on the front of the card to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the layout, adhere the partial cloud punch out and layered eclipse circles in place using Stampin' Seal.
Adhere the full cloud punch out in place using Stampin' Dimensionals.
