P retty gift card using Stampin' Up! products.
|
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Gold Foil Sheets
- 2" x 3" of gold diamonds on red background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of the 3x3" Whisper White Thick gift card in the center.
Pick out the large grouping of diamond shapes trellis die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Foil Sheet on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep the big lattice work piece to use on a this gift card and 4 small diamond flourish shapes to use on a different gift card.
Cut the trellis cut out in half down the center vertically.
Use Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the left half of the trellis cut out to the center of the designer paper. Make sure the left edge of the trellis almost touches the left edge of the card.
Use Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the right half of the trellis cut out to the center of the designer paper. Make sure the right edge of the trellis almost touches the right edge of the card. Let the cut ends of the trellis pieces overlap in the center a bit.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "May this Christmas..." or "Wishing you the gifts..." sentiment from the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the smaller, angular label die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the center of the card front.
