Christmas Rose Decorated Box |
P retty box decorated with a belly band using Stampin' Up! products.
|
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- 1-1/2" x 10" of large rose bouquets on gold spotted white background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- small rose and leaves hand cut from small roses and leaves on white background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
Remove the bracelet and cardboard insert from the Charming Rose Bracelet box if you are filling it with anything else (or gift the bracelet!). Fill the box with 3x3" gift cards or other treats. Put the lid back on the box.
Loosely wrap the 1-1/2" x 10" strip of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper around the center of the box. Secure the ends together using small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Cut a piece of Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon so it has sharp angles on either end and is slightly longer than the box is wide.
Lay the ribbon on the top of the belly band in the center horizontally. Secure in place with small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Merry Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Rose Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the larger, slightly oval label die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the stamped "Merry Christmas" sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Use the edge of the brush tip of the Mossy Meadow Marker to outline the cut out.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape holding the ribbon to the belly band. Add SNAIL to the back of the sentiment cut out. Adhere the sentiment cut out to the center of the belly band.
Tip: Make sure no adhesive hangs over the edges of the belly band or it will stick to the top of the box lid making it impossible to remove the belly band.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to cut out a small rose and leaves from a sheet of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the rose and leaves cut out to the upper right side of the sentiment cut out.
Tip: Make sure no adhesive hangs over the edges of the belly band or it will stick to the top of the box lid making it impossible to remove the belly band.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a small dot from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the rose cut out.
