Christmas card with gift card pocket |
|
T his paper from the Brightly Gleaming pack screams Christmas glitz. This card with gift card pocket can be used for so many occasions.
Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11.
Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½. Score across the card front 2” from the open end. Fold this piece back. Attach to the inside of the card front with tear & tape at each side. Cut a piece of ornament paper 1 ⅞ X 4 ⅛. Attach it over the pocket inside the card front.
Pocket sentiment: Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla paper with Night of Navy ink. Punch with Label Me Fancy punch. Punch copper foil with the same punch. Cut copper foil punched piece in half and attach to each side of the Very Vanilla stamped piece. Attach this to the gift card pocket.
Card Insert: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp Sentiment to the far left of insert, so it doesn’t show past the folded card front. Attach stamped card insert inside card.
Card Front: Cut Copper foil 3 ⅜ X 4 ⅛. Punch ornament from the center of foil and emboss with an embossing folder of your choice. I used Dainty Diamonds. Attach embossed punched ornament to far right of insert with dimensionals.
Cut ornament paper 3 ¼ X 4. Attach ornament paper to copper foil. Attach these to the card front.
