Cheerful Daisies My Day Daisies |
P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lolly Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pebbled Path Cardstock
- 3" square of daisies with yellow centers and green leaves and stems on brown background design from Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
Insert the Pebbled Path rectangle into the Timber 3D Embossing Folder so the grain runs horizontally across the vertical rectangle. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the square of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper to the upper right corner of the vertical, dry embossed rectangle.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Lemon Lolly strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the small, rounded scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cheerful Daisies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you made my day" sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the punched Lemon Lolly strip so it is closer to the punched edge with the punched edge on the left side.
Adhere the punched sentiment strip to the layered cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it is about 5/8" from the top edge and hangs off the right side. Make sure to leave space between the end of the sentiment and the right edge to adhere an embellishment dot. Trim off excess cardstock on the right edge.
Adhere the cardstock/designer paper rectangle with sentiment strip attached to the front of the Lemon Lolly card.
Pick out the large, connected 3 daisies and leaves die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the flowers. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Leave the die out.
Put the large, connected 3 daisies and leaves die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies on top of the Garden Green square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the leaves. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any leaf bits from the cut out white daisies and to cut off any flower bits from the cut out green leaves.
Put the cut out daisies on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Lemon Lolly Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers and cone of the daisies. Then, use the brush tip of the Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker to add some dark areas to the centers and cone.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the colored daisies cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is in the lower left corner and overlaps the lower left corner of the designer paper a bit.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaves cut out to the front of the card as shown so they are tucked under the petals of the large daisy and overlap the lower right corner of the designer paper.
Mount the set of three small flowers image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" Lemon Lolly rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open set of three small flowers die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use the fine tip of the Pebbled Path Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers of the flowers on the cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the small flowers cut out to the front of the card as shown in the lower left corner so it overlaps the petals of the bottom two white daisies a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Wild Wheat dot from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the right end of the sentiment strip between the end of the words and the edge of the strip.
