Mount the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white square.
Pick out the large, open sunflower die from the Sunflowers Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flower square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the stamped flower image. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the large Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to the white side of the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, detailed sunflower die from the Sunflowers Dies. Put it on top of the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the gold side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Before removing the protective backing from the detailed Distressed Gold sunflower cut out, figure out which way it and the stamped sunflower cut out need to be oriented for them to line up.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed Distressed Gold sunflower cut out and adhere it to the stamped sunflower cut out.
Adhere the layered sunflower cut out to the horizontal white rectangle so the tops of the petals are about 1/8" from the top and the tips of the petals on the left are about 1/4" from the left.
Peel the protective backing off of the skinny Adhesive Sheets strip. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets strip to the white side of the 3/4" x 3" Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper strip. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the single leaf sprig die from the Sunflowers Dies. Put it on top of the Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Parakeet Party (green) side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the leaf sprig in half and to trim down the leaves on the bottom section.
One at a time, remove the protective backings from the backs of the leaf sprig cut outs. Adhere them to the front of the card so the bottoms of the stems are tucked under the sunflower cut out as shown.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the Daffodil Delight strip.
Mount the "Let's celebrate you" sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers Set on Block H. Carefully press the stamp to the edge of the open VersaMark Ink Pad so you ink up ONLY the words "celebrate you." Stamp the words in the lower right corner of the horizontal Daffodil Delight strip.
Tip: If you prefer, you can cut the word "let's" off from the rest of the sentiment stamp using a sharp pair of scissors to make it easier to stamp using only the words "celebrate you."
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some gold powder from the Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Adhere the heat embossed Daffodil Delight strip to the bottom of the horizontal, large white rectangle so it covers the bottom of the layered sunflower cut outs.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the thin strip of Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper to the layered white rectangle so it covers the seam between the Daffodil Delight and white cardstock.
Adhere the layered white rectangle to the front of the Parakeet Party card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large gold sequin from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the center of the sunflower as shown.
