Cat is not just for Halloween |
|
A s soon as I saw this card idea on Pinterest from Sue Stampfield.com I knew I had to use the design for my fall card making parties. I had to use the same color combination because I fell in love with the gingham ribbon.

Cardbase: Whisper White (half of a letter size piece of cardstock). 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half for a left fold.
Accent piece: Night of Navy 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Main piece: Whisper White 3" x 4"
Stamp the floral stamp in Night of Navy on the bottom portion of the smaller Whisper White piece.
Punch this same piece with the Cat Punch. Make sure to push the punch all the way in and to center between the two sides.
Center the smaller white piece on the Night of Navy accent piece.
Using SNAIL adhere the pieces together (leaving the punch cat piece out for now).
Lay the punched out cat piece back in the same opening it was punched from. Carefully lift one side at a time and using Stampin' Dimensionals pop the cat up to allow the blue to peek out from underneath.
Stamp whatever sentiment that you would like to use on this card at the bottom right. This card has Happy Birthday stamped in Night of Navy.
Wrap Gingham Ribbon across the top of the accent panel. Then take another piece and tie an knot in the center to create a "bow" look.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, pop the accent panel up and center in the space remaining on the card after the greeting has been stamped.
