Card Created for Sunday May 9 Sketch Challenge |
|
I created this card as my interpretation of the sketch challenge for May 9.
Cardstock
8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Pale Papaya scored at 4-1/4"
5-1/2" x 2-1/2" Granny Apple Green
11" x 3-1/2" Balmy Blue
2" x 5" Old Olive
Mango Melody scrap
Basic White scraps
2" x 5" Old Olive
Use the Inspiring Canopy Dies and cut the Granny Apple Green cardstock to create the curve. Adhere the cs to the bottom part of the card base. If you need to, you can cut off part of the bottom so the curve is where you like it on your card.
Stamp the sentiment from the Quite Curvy stamp set.
Use the Pierced Blooms Dies to cut out four large and two small flowers in Balmy Blue.
Use the leaf dies to cut out five large and two small leaves in Mossy Meadow.
Cut out two large centers and one small center in Mango Melody.
Layer the flowers with Dimensionals. Adhere the Mango Melody center to the flowers.
Adhere the flowers to the card base (I used one Dimensional for each flower so I could add the leaves). Use a Mini Glue Dot to the TOP of the leaves and adhere them to the underside of the flowers.
Use the cloud in the Majestic Mountain Dies to cut out two clouds, and adhere them to the card base.
Add Ladybugs Trinkets and Blue Adhesive Backed Gems to finish it off.
