Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 1" x 3-1/4" from cardstock (I used Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, and Highland Heather)
- 1" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 6" x 6" pieces of Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the strip of colored cardstock into the punch as far as it will go and punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Butterfly Gala Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Place a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "hello beautiful" sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Set on Block B. Ink it up with the ink pad (I used Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue, and Highland Heather) and stamp it on the punched, colored cardstock strip so the notch is on the right and the sentiment is as close as possible to the notch.
Tip: If you are creating multiple clips using different colors, be sure to clean the sentiment between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Stack 6" x 6" pieces of Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper on top of each other.
Lay the sentiment strip on top of the stack of designer paper pieces so the left edge of the sentiment strip is about 3/4" from the left edge of the designer paper stack. Do NOT adhere it. Place a coordinating color clip from the 2018-2020 In Color Mini Binder Clips on the stack of paper to hold the sentiment strip in place.
Mount the large and small detail butterfly image of your choice from the Butterfly Gala Set on Block D. Ink it up with one of the Ink Pads (I used Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, and Highland Heather). Stamp it near one edge of the white strip so you get the small butterfly image.
Tip: If you are creating multiple clips using different colors, be sure to clean the butterfly images between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Mount the solid, small, top wings image from the Butterfly Gala Set on Block A. Ink it up with one of the Ink Pads (I used Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, and Daffodil Delight) and stamp it inside the top wings of the small detailed butterfly image.
Tip: If you use the Blueberry Bushel Ink, you might want to stamp onto Grid Paper once before stamping it on the butterfly image so it won't be too dark.
Tip: If you are creating multiple clips using different colors, be sure to clean the solid, small, top wings image between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Mount the solid, small, bottom wings image from the Butterfly Gala Set on Block A. Ink it up with one of the Ink Pads (I used Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight) and stamp it inside the bottom wings of the small detailed butterfly image.
Tip: If you use the butterflies with leafy wings image, you will NOT need to stamp the bottom wings.
Tip: If you want the bottom wings to be a little darker than the top wings, re-ink the stamp and stamp it again.
Tip: If you are creating multiple clips using different colors, be sure to clean the solid, small, bottom wings image between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Unlock the Butterfly Duet Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped small butterfly into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Mount the smaller, solid butterfly body image from the Butterfly Gala Set on Block A. Ink it up with one of the Ink Pads (I used Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, and Highland Heather) and stamp it in the center of the small, stamped butterfly punch out.
Tip: If you are creating multiple clips using different colors, be sure to clean the smaller, solid butterfly body image between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to attach the butterfly punch out to the left side of the binder clip top at a slight angle.
