Bottled Happiness Wine and Paper |
C ard made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2" x 3-3/4" of text design from Vellum 12" x 12" Layering Designs, make sure the text is horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Crumple the piece of vellum. Then, flatten it back out and place it on top of a piece of Grid Paper.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Crumb Cake Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub some of the ink off onto Grid Paper. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the crumpled vellum to turn the background a light brown. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Make sure you have a piece of Grid Paper under the vellum to protect your work surface.
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Use a clean tissue to wipe off excess ink from the crumpled vellum.
Adhere the blended and crumpled vellum to the 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" Mossy Meadow rectangle so the top edge is about 1-1/8" from the top of the Mossy Meadow. Trim off excess vellum on the right or left edges as needed.
As you are ready to stamp using the Bottled Happiness Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Wine Not" or "Sending Cheer" sentiment from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it near the upper left corner of the vertical 2-1/2" x 3" Crumb Cake rectangle leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the open oval frame die from the Fabulous Frames Dies. Put it on top of the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is in the upper left. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed. Leave the die out.
Note: You are using the center oval portion with the sentiment for this project. Keep the oval frame cut out for use on another project.
Put the open oval frame die on top of the 2-1/2" x 3" Cherry Cobbler rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Note: You are using the frame portion for this project. Keep the solid oval cut out of the center for use on another project.
Adhere the solid oval cut out with the sentiment to the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle on the left side so it is centered top to bottom over the vellum and is about 1/2" from the left side.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Cherry Cobbler oval frame cut out to the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle so it is centered over the solid oval cut out.
Mount the large, more solid glass bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" Mossy Meadow rectangle as close to the bottom edge as possible. Make sure the top of the bottle is pointing up. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the large, more solid glass bottle image on Block H with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" Cherry Cobbler rectangle as close to the bottom edge as possible. Make sure the top of the bottle is pointing up.
Unlock the Vintage Bottle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. One at a time, slide the stamped bottle images into the punch and get them centered in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the Mossy Meadow bottle punch out to the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle at a slight angle so it overlaps the right side of the framed sentiment oval as shown.
Adhere the Cherry Cobbler bottle punch out to the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle at a slight angle so it overlaps the lower right side of the Mossy Meadow bottle as shown.
Pick out the set of 4 photo corners with scroll work die from the Fabulous Frames Dies. Put it on top of the 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" Crumb Cake rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Note: You are using only two of the photo corner cut outs for this project. Keep the other two photo corner cut outs for use on another project.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere two of the photo corner cut outs to the upper left and lower right corners of the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle.
Adhere the 3-3/4" x 5" Crumb Cake rectangle to the front of the Cherry Cobbler card at a slight angle as shown.
Adhere the Mossy Meadow/vellum rectangle to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown.
Cut an 18" piece of the Linen Thread.
Fold the Linen Thread in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded Linen Thread. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the Linen Thread bow to the front of the card at a slight angle in the space formed between the bottoms of the bottles.
