Bloom to Bloom |
|
M aking Birthday cards this week. Seems I need more and more. LOL "Bloom to Bloom" stamp set helps me make bright, fun cards and who couldn't use a splash of color on their Birthday? Can also be used for "just wanted to say hi" cards too. I used "Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral and Pineapple Punch" ink pads.

Whisper White cardstock for card base. Cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/4". Fold in half.
First layer is Calypso Coral Cardstock cut 5 1/4" x 4". Adhere to card base.
Cut a piece of "Happiness Blooms" Designer Series paper 1 3/4" x 5". Cut as banner by clipping up the middle of the strip about 1/2" to 3/4" . Then cut from one lower corner up to the top of your clip, at an angle. Then do other side. This can also be done with a banner punch if available.
Cut another piece of "Happiness Blooms" paper 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the piece to add a little dimension to my card.
Using "Whisper White" cardstock cut 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" I randomly stamped images from the "Bloom to Bloom" Photopolymer stamp set. Used "Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral and Lovely Lipstick" ink pads. Just a note, if you use any other piece of the "Happiness Blooms" designer paper for this card, the green used is "Call Me Clover" NOT "Granny Apple Green."
Lastly I stamped the Happy Birthday on "Whisper White" cardstock cut 2" x 1/2". Used "Lovely Lipstick" ink. I also used a sponge to add a little color on the edges to help it stand out against the other piece. Added dimensionals also.
