P retty cards perfect for a birthday, thinking of you, or thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of floral sprays on vanilla background from Heart & Home 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" of tiny light green leaf sprigs on darker green background from Heart & Home 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the sprigs are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Garden Green Cardstock
Adhere the large floral sprays rectangle of Heart & Home Designer Paper to the center of the large Garden Green rectangle.
Pick out the set of 4 photo corners with scroll work die from the Fabulous Frames Dies. Put it on top of the small Garden Green square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you will cut out one set of two photo corners. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Adhere the photo corner cut outs to the corners of the designer paper rectangle as shown depending on if you want a landscape or portrait orientation for your card.
Adhere the matted designer paper rectangle with photo corners attached to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
Pick out the open oval frame die from the Fabulous Frames Dies. Put it on top of the vertical green sprigs Heart & Home Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed. Leave the die out.
Note: You are using the oval frame cut out for this project. Keep the center oval cut out for use on another project if you wish.
Mount the "You are a real blessing..." sentiment from the Blessings Of Home Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 2-1/2" x 3" vanilla rectangle.
Put the open oval frame die on top of the vertical stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the oval frame is vertical and is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Note: You are using the center oval cut out for this project. Keep the oval frame cut out for use on another project if you wish.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the front of the card as shown depending on whether you want a landscape or portrait layout.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the green sprigs oval frame cut out to the front of the card so it is centered around the sentiment oval cut out.
Mount the smaller bouquet image from the Blessings Of Home Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the matching floral bouquet die from the Flowers Of Home Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bouquet on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use the brush tip of the Pale Papaya Marker to color in the centers of the two larger flowers as shown.
Use the brush tip of the Fresh Freesia Marker to color in the grouping of smaller flowers as shown.
Adhere the colored bouquet cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the left edge of the framed sentiment oval.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of the White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle so it is centered over the bottom of the bouquet stem.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three small pearls from the sheet of Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels making sure you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card around the flower bouquet and sentiment oval.
